Early Childhood Development in Balochistan: Opportunities and Challenges

A consultative policy session was held at Quetta on Thursday, February 09, 2017, at Hotel Serena. Stakeholders across the Balochistan province were invited to participate in consultative session to discuss the future of Pakistani children. The participants from Government, private sectors and Academia, NGOs and civil society organizations shared their work and discussed their concerns, significance of ECD and early learning capacities for future prosperity.

Early Childhood Development in Islamabad: Opportunities and Challenges

A consultative policy session held at Islamabad on Tuesday, November 29, 2016, at Hill View Hotel, Islamabad. Participants from Civil society organization, NGO, INGOs and Donor Agencies and individual ECD practitioners discussed early childhood and EducationThe session was chaired by honorable guest Professor Rafique Tahir from Ministry of Education. Professor Rafique Tahir highlighted the importance of ECE curriculum, material development, teacher’s training by improving the learning environment. He also discussed the Government’s commitment for early childhood development in Pakistan.Up to 5 organizations were invited to share their work and discuss the early childhood development, gaps and prospects of ECD in Pakistan.

Early Childhood Development in Punjab: Opportunities and Challenges

A consultative session was held in Lahore.

A dialogue session was held on 2nd December 2016 in collaboration with Elementary Education Foundation. The topic for discussion was “Early Childhood Development in Punjab: Opportunities and Challenges”.

Patrons from across the Punjab province were invited to participate in consultative session to discuss the initiatives implemented by civil society organization, ngo’s and other stakeholders. The participants from public private partners and ECD practitioners made session interactive by sharing the opportunities and improving the foundations of future generations of Pakistan.

A consultative policy session was held at Peshawar on Saturday, November 26, 2016. Participants from Civil society organizations, NGO, INGOs and Donor Agencies and individual ECD practitioners discussed early childhood and Education opportunities and challenges in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
The session was presided over by Ms. Khalida Adib, Senior Educationist of KP. Mr. Abbas Khan, Deputy Director Education, FATA was the chief guest. Mr. Javed Iqbal, Acting Managing Director, Elementary Education Foundation, KP was the guest of honor.
